The Manuel Antonio Montessori School is located on the Central Pacific Coast of
Costa Rica, 20 minutes by plane from San Jose, 3 km south of Quepos, 4 km from
Manuel Antonio National Park.
Our location is in the mountainous region considered one of the most spectacular
ecological beauties of the country!

Manuel Antonio National Park's beautiful beaches, famous around the World for many
romantic movie scenes, are just minutes from our school.

Our school grounds are done in a rustic Costa Rican country style.

The school is a two story elegant teak wood villa, nestled in the
thick of a tropical jungle and neighbor to one of the largest
nature reserves in the country.

So we have the glorious view of the Pacific Ocean splendors, and
the benefits of the mountain terrain, all in one!
We are greeted in the morning by the lovely music from the wide
variety of tropical bird life; visited at lunch time by several
species of monkeys looking for a banana or two; and then as we leave,
we are saluted by all the various iguana families who habitat our grounds!

The benefits are innumerable, as the ecological experience is a full
education in itself.
Squirrel monkeys are regular visitors....
But Costa Rica is not only a world-renowned
location of ecological respect, but a country without a military,
lovers of peace, and a secure place to raise a family.
Pre-school class
The school is run by local residents from Europe and the USA.
Teachers and children are from the USA, Canada, Europe and Costa Rica.

Additional services include secure campus with 24-hour guard service,
swimming pool and jacuzzi.
Nutritious meals and snacks served according to your child`s particular preferences.
